Authorized Guides

Guided tours for visiting historical, artistic and environmental attractions may only be conducted by authorized guides.

Sightseeings

There is a wide choice of organized tours in the city and the surrounding area. Various agencies organize tours on foot and by other means (bus, van, bike, Segway, etc.) nearly every day at different times and in various languages. Many agencies also organize visits with tastings of local products, shopping tours and customized itineraries.
It is always recommended to book ahead through travel agencies, online or in many cases at the front desk of the hotel. Especially for languages other than english booking ahead is adviced.
Another way to discover the town is by hackney carriages. You can find them in several squares of the city centre.
